The time I was kidnapped

My employer has 3 different office venues in Mumbai. Most of my teammates are in this office location which is too far from where I stay.I would often tell my team mates that I would reach Pune in the same time I take to commute there(I stay at the far end of Mumbai .. sigh). One of our analysts from US is on vacation at her home town in Gujarat and she decided to pay us a friendly visit as she had some VISA formalities at Mumbai. To benefit the majority, the venue was obviously the other office. Unlike other times when I would grouse about my travel woes , this time around I was happy visiting the office(No monday blues !!) because I was really fond of the collegaue. She is really a cool person to work with. We worked in a project and she really had been very clear about the requirements and the deadlines. Apart from her , there is one more analyst who I really admire for her clarity of thoughts and prudent analytical skills. Both of their names starts with M. M came to our office around 1 o'clock, she brought ample chocolates for all of us. Since she is on her vacation, we didnt waste much time in office and we headed off for lunch to a subtle restaurant near-by. We had plenty of food - Chilly basil paneer, Fiesta Nachos, Chipotle Butter Paneer with Mexican Rice. With good food and great conversations,
it was absolutely time well spent.
After lunch, M bid good bye to us to join her parents who were hanging out
at a shopping mall. Rest of us went back to office to the usual work routines with our calendar full of things. Since I work for the US, my day goes really swamped by 5:30 PM IST. In US, most of our colleagues are in office early morning,by 8-ish. There after we have lots of pings, calls and meetings on the status and issues. This continues till 8:00 PM IST and I generally leave around 8:30.
Since it takes more than 2 hrs to reach my place from this office, I had plans to leave by 7.Being Monday, there were so many mails to be answered and add to it, my BA was back from a 3 weeks vacation. So I had this task of summarizing her what went well, what didn't and what is in plates for her. I felt no need to replenish my fuel tank due to the heavy sumptous lunch. Also the work load was too much, I
was compeltely sedentary after the lunch except for one time where in I got up to get some water.
By the time I left at 8:30,I was feeling some discomfort and severe headache. I got into a rick just outside the office. To reach my home, I have to take a rick, then metro followed by a local train and then a 5 mins walk. When I was in the rick, I had severe headache and was feeling giddy.
I feared I would pass out. I felt that the driver was staring at me while I was sitting at the back of the rick, pressing the temples to relieve my headache. This triggered my alert button. So I immediately clicked the pic of the number plate sticked in front of the passenger seat and messaged my hubby dearest. I thought my hubby would loose his nerve seeing this so I messaged him no need to panic. Throughout the time in the rick I was anxious to keep myself vigilant, fretting about whether I  would get kidnapped, if I faint and the violent headache was completely getting me pissed off. I even dared to stare at the driver to show him that I am a bold brave strong women, though he was just driving  gazing the path ahead. When I reached the metro and while I was handing him the fare, I observed that the driver wasn't even looking at me. It may have been my illusion that he was ogling at me or may be my act at the back seat holding my hand over my head might have made him look at me at that time. May be our Indian brains are wired this way over the years with what's in the news and to panic and ensure safety when we are alone.
Anyways my savior husband was unaware of any of these incidents until I reached home. Glad he was having fun with my son though I hope he will get some epiphany if I am actually in trouble and I need him 
